Teaching

Italian.

I am a native speaker of Italian, and taught Italian for two years at the University of Minnesota, in the Department of French and Italian:

• Italian 1001: Beginning Italian (Fall and Spring, AY 2002-2003)
• Italian 1002: Beginning Italian (Fall and Spring, AY 2003-2004)

Linguistics.

I also TA’d for several undergraduate linguistics courses while at Stanford:

• Ling 110: Introduction to Phonetics and Phonology (Spring 2006, Winter 2009)
• Ling 120: Introduction to Syntax (Fall 2007)

  Dene Linguistics.
I will be teaching at the Navajo Language Academy in Tsaile, Arizona this summer (2015), a course entitled Tetsǫ́t'ıné and Wıı̀lıı̀deh Verbs: Morphology and Phonology.  I have also taught numerous Dene literacy and teaching methods classes over the years at Goyatıkǫ̀, in partnership with ALCIP (Aboriginal Language and Culture Instructor Program), offered through Aurora College.
